Sublime Brows in Boise Idaho
When I was younger I never paid much attention to eyebrows. Besides keeping them thin and tweezed, with a nice little tadpole/nike swoosh appearance, they were just "whatever." Now it is one of the first things I notice about people. After working as a make-up artist through the past decade I witnessed that shift of focus from all about smokey eyes to all about full and fabulous brows. This before and after of a client I did microblading on awhile back is such a great example of how good brows can take ten years off the face.
Why Microblading the right choice for me?
There are many reasons for brows to become sparse or even non existent, including, alopecia, chemotherapy treatment, thyroid disorders, over plucking, scars, burns from wax, and just aging and heredity.
Microblading not only gives you beautiful, natural looking brows, with soft lifelike hair strokes, but it also reshapes the entire face while giving you a more youthful appearance. The wonderful thing about microblading is that you can wake up with brows every day without the hassle of drawing them on. Not only that, but your brow shape will be the best shape for your face, enhancing your features and giving you that effortless confidence. It does fade more quickly then the powder brow application but the nice thing about that is you can alter them when doing the touch-up treatments, for example, if you want a little more arch, the brow muscle droops or you change your hair color and want to go a little darker. You can still fill in your brows if you want a more dramatic look and the wonderful thing is you can follow that perfect shape.
The importance of loving what you do.
I am beauty obsessed and have been for as long as I can remember. I am really loving the platform that youtube, pinterest, instagram, and tumblr has created to showcase all of the amazing talent out there, which never ceases to amaze me. When I stumbled upon microblading online I was instantly mesmerized by how natural and beautiful this technique is. Semipermanent make-up that looks soft and natural.. SIGN ME UP!!!! I love the ever evolving beauty industry. I also love making people feel great. I spend a huge amount of my free time trying to learn new tricks and better myself as an artist. Giving the gift of beauty is what inspires me to keep growing. If I can help someone feel more confident that is the best payment I can receive.
Why semipermanent make-up might not retain well.
I want to go over some reasons why microblading or softap won't retain and the skin does not accept the dye. Semipermanent make-up is basically creating small cuts or punctures into the skin where the pigment is meant to sit. The skin then heals up over the pigment and it remains in the dermal - epidermal junction for up to a year or longer. This is what happens when things go very well. So lets go over all the potential reasons the pigment does not retain and your skin kicks it to the curb forcing us to go back to having to draw them on. *Sigh!
*Bleeding during the procedure can affect how your body retains the pigment. This is why you must avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinning medications beforhand.
*Smoking can cause the tattoo to fade faster.
*Sun exposure can cause premature fading.
*Color of pigment. Using a color too light.
*Previous tattooed brows may create scar tissue that may not retain pigment as well.
*You picked the scabs interfering with the healing process.
*You didn't follow the aftercare instructions.
*Your skin is just too oily.
*The artist didn't go deep enough.
*You have super thin vascular skin
With that said best case scenario is 85% pigment retention
